Åseda Health Center is located in Uppvidinge municipality and has approximately 3600 registered patients. Here, patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, with special clinics for child care/family center, elderly care, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. In our work, we prioritize good communication, accessibility, and always work with the patient at the center.

We work with the goal of having 1100 registered patients per doctor and are focused on creating good continuity and accessibility for our patients and a good working environment for our employees. However, continuity in primary care cannot rest on just one person - teamwork is therefore central to us, and all professional categories in the team share a common responsibility for ensuring that patients are well taken care of. Here, the team comes before the individual, and we work to create conditions for the team at the health center to be there for the patient.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We want to create conditions for you to focus on what you do best - being a specialist in general medicine and doing good for your patients. We work according to the right use of competence (RAK) and investigate which tasks can be performed by other professional groups. This has resulted in medical secretaries booking and calling and managing the medical processes. We also have nursing assistant clinics and nursing clinics that are responsible for following up on patients.

Right now, we are focusing on developing clinical pathways for large patient groups and working to create new working methods to care for those patients who need us the most. We also have an ongoing effort to list patients with a fixed doctor contact to further improve continuity.

In addition to the usual work as a specialist in general medicine, you will:

• Be proactive in developing and building the future health center.
• Play an important role in developing and integrating preventive and health-promoting measures in care.
• Supervise training physicians, resident physicians, and specialist training physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine.

As a person, you are unpretentious, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize. You are team-oriented, solution-focused, and of course, have a genuine interest in primary care. We value your ability to meet different people based on their needs. We place great importance on personal suitability.
